JANUARY 15, 2013
Triad RF receives an order from an international customer for our TTRM1010 bi-directional amplifier. The units will ship with our VDSTM technology and be optimized in the 1.3 GHz band. The customer was very impressed with the units bandwidth, DC capability and efficiency. The units will be used in an Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) to increase the distance the robot can operate from the transmitter. Further orders are expected in 2013.
JANUARY 3, 2013
Triad RF receives orders for wide frequency laboratory units. These units will operate from frequencies ranging from 20 MHz to 1 GHz with output powers as high as 20W. They will be shipped with integrated AC power supplies along with built-in fans to keep the modules at a consistent temperature. These are the first units of a large line of laboratory amplifiers to further complement our product depth.
DECEMBER 26, 2012
Triad RF receives a production order for the TA1025. Delieveries will be spread across the first quarter of 2013 with continued orders expected through 2014. The customer noted the consistency in performance of this model allowed them to provide stable, extended coverage of their transmitters to the end user.
DECEMBER 10, 2012
Triad RF receives an R&D order to develop/manufacture a custom controller module used to operate the locking mechanisms in a state-of-the-art container system that will be deployed in New York City and then if successful, other cities around the U.S. Triad’s solution utilizes a micro-controller plus custom circuits that provide control through CAT-5 cables or over WiFi communication. This technology will be implemented in several future products giving customers remote capabilities throughout our product lines.
NOVEMBER 1, 2012
Triad RF receives an order for more TA1007 modules operating at 2.2 GHz for data communications. We received this order due to our abiltiy to deliver in a very short time span plus meet the customer's cost goals. Our low overhead and agile production methods allowed us to meet these requirements. Further orders are expected in 2013.
OCTOBER 19, 2012
Triad RF receives a development order for a 6.4-7.5 GHz, 10 W COFDM amplifier. This unit will incorporate our VDSTM technology and accept +9 to +33 VDC from the user. The RF line-up will integrate the latest GaAs and GaN devices to produce the linear RF power over the wide frequency band while using minimal DC power therefore maintaining a high efficiency. The unit will also be one of the smallest in the industry, measuring only 6.0 x 2.5 x 1.06 inches. Production will occur in 2013.
OCTOBER 10, 2012
Triad RF receives a prototype order for small, highly linear, wideband amplifiers from a leading manufacturer of high quality video products. Triad RF receives an engineering order for state of the art ultra wideband 4W Bi-Directional Amplifiers (BDAs). These units will operate from 20 MHz to 3000 MHz and will transmit around 4 Watts with 25% efficiency on the transmit side, and will produce 20 dB of linear gain on the receive side. The units will be the first to incorporate our proprietary Versatile DC Supply (VDSTM) technology which allows the PA to be operated with a variety of DC supplies, military BT & BB series batteries, and other batteries where the voltage may change over the discharge cycle. The small increase in the height of the amplifier is significantly less than the traditional approach of using a PA with a separate off the shelf DC/DC converter. Production orders could occur in 2013. “Due to the combination of our ability to push the envelope with new RF devices, along with solid partnerships with our local contract manufacturers, vendors and sales representatives, Triad is achieving strong sales during the start-up stage of the company.” stated Steve Barthelmes, Director at Triad RF.
